Can you believe October is already here this week? If you’re looking for a reason to get out of the house, we’ve got a few ideas. Here are three we’d put on the calendar:
Make something — Thursday: Try botanical drawing in Summit, 11 AM–noon. Supplies are included in this free workshop; registration required, with a 15-person limit.
Bring the family — Saturday: Rahway’s free Hispanic Heritage Cultural Festival, 2–6 PM, pairs live performances with a kids’ zone.
Come hungry — Sunday: Cranford’s free Fall Street Fest, 11 AM–5 PM, brings food trucks, live music, and more than 100 artisans and local businesses downtown.
